God's PERFECT Timing
Just before we left for our week of conferences, we received an email from Matt's parents, Sheldon and Marietta with their missions newsletter. They live in Taiwan, about 45 minutes away from Matt, Rachel and Micah. In their letter, they always put their schedule of where they will be so people can be praying for them. We knew they were coming to the states for conferences and to visit family and children/grandchildren. How excited we were when we read that they were going to be in Goshen, Indiana the same time we were in Winona Lake, Indiana! We would be only 20 minutes away from each other. It was so fun to meet on Monday for lunch, and then just talk for awhile in the afternoon. Our paths don't cross too often, but how wonderful it has been to see each other either in Taiwan or here in the states at different times. We sure share the mutual love of our grandbaby, Micah...they are able to see him quite often, so we know he is surrounded with lots of grandparent love!

Summer Conference this year - July 20-25
WELCOME TO WINONA LAKE.....
What a wonderful week we had at the Friends of Israel Prophecy Conference in Winona Lake, Indiana. Don and Brenda went with us, which made it such a GREAT week. We met at 8:30am Sunday morning at the expressway ramp, and on our way to Winona Lake, stopped at Calvary Church in Grand Rapids and met Nick and Sharon Nicholas there. Sunday night began a great week of speakers....Steve Herzig, Andy Ferrier, David Larsen, Jim Showers, Doug Bookman, David Levy, a "Stand with Israel" night, and concert with Diane Susek on Tuesday night. We are still processing all that we heard during the week!

Beautiful lake and sunset at Winona Lake....
We had fun walking around Winona Lake where Bob went to seminary, see the home where he lived for 2 years, seminary buildings, and the International Friendship House where we stayed Bob's senior year.
Brenda and I had a great time at the Amish Acres while Bob and Don golfed on Tuesday afternoon.

Then it was off to Chicago.....
Thursday and Friday we attended the "Grace Conference" at Quinten Road Baptist Church for Pastor's and wives. We had a great time seeing friends, being with Simersons and Stauffers, and hearing great speakers....such as Dr. Robert Lightner, Dr. Larry Moyer, Dr. James Scudder and attending a lot of workshops. The "Dayspring Bible College" is a part of this church, and their musical group sang, and they also had their "Culinary Arts" students put on HUGE meals for us!
Belated wishes.....
While we were in Indiana, Elizabeth had her big 3-0 birthday! So here is my belated happy, happy, birthday blog wish to you!
What a wonderful day it was when you were born...our second beautiful, sweet daughter.
We love you soooooooooo much and are looking forward to you, Jason and soon-to-be baby coming in August!!!
