Every month we have a different person put in a unique showcase, which is in the front of our church in our foyer. There are 12 different ladies that enjoy being creative. This month was my month...and here are a few pictures of what I put in!



























This darling little scarecrow was given to me several years ago by Jason and Elizabeth...ususally he is sitting on my front porch, but this year, he's in the showcase!

How fun it was to spend Monday night and Tuesday with Jason and Elizabeth.... they are just about ready to move to North Carolina on Friday!

















Their pastor and family in Lapeer came over on Monday night - they are sure going to miss Jason and Elizabeth.

HUGE DARK CLOUDS

Tonight our area is under a "tornado watch"...the clouds have beeen getting thicker and darker, and we are now seeing lightning and hearing thunder....it's moving quickly though our area....I'm so glad that "even the wind and sea obey HIM!"

Brock is getting SOOOOOOO big!

New Tribes Bible Institute - Jackson, Michigan

This morning, Bob and I had the privilege of speaking at the New Tribes Bible Institute. There were about 400 students there - and I spoke to the girls, and Bob to the men. Most were freshman/sophomore college kids ... either desiring to go into missions, or just wanting a 2-year Bible education. It is a beautiful campus, and we enjoyed the students so much - eating breakfast and lunch with them!

We had some unexpected company that came on Friday afternoon, and stayed overnight and had breakfast with us....they are missionaries to Haiti - Wallace and Eleanor Turnbull. They are the ones that started the Baptist Haiti Mission, of which Bob is a board member.

What a gorgeous sunset we had tonight. The sun was just beautiful on our trees, church and home.

From "old" to "new"

Today we said "good bye" to our great little Malabu, and got our "new" car - a Pontiac Bonneville. It's silver with charcoal grey interior. It's a beauty!

It's beginning to look a lot like........Fall!
