New Years' Celebrations...

New Years' day we met Ben, Rebekah, Brock and Evie in Frankenmuth. What a fun time we had - shopping at Birch Run, visiting Bronners Christmas Village, walking around and going through the cute shops of Frankenmuth, playing in the play area of McDonalds, and staying in a great motel with a pool. Friday we all drove to Toledo, where we met my sister Connie, her husband Jerry, and my Mom. It was the first time they have seen little Evie. We brought my Mom back with us for about 12 days. Ben, Rebekah, Brock and Evie drove from there straight home to SC, getting in at 2am this morning!

Oh the weather outside is frightful....
Yes! we've had more snow in November/December -over 90 inches already, and it's more than we've had in over 60 years! We are so thankful for our wonderful "snow removal" men...David Skiff doing our driveways, Mark Slack running the snowblower, and Ralph TrowBridge pushing the heavy snow back...(he even got stuck and had to have another plow get him out!). What a blessing it is for us to have "clear" driveways and walkways at church. Thanks so much to each one of you!
