Pre-marital Counseling at a Beach Bums Game

It was our last sesson for pre-marital counseling with David and Rosie last night, and that afternoon, they had been given VIP tickets to the Traverse City Beach Bums game. We decided that we could do our counseling right there - an hour before the game started, and enjoy the game together. It was a great night - 80 degrees and sunny, and a great win.....6-3! Go Beach Bums!

Our day-off trip to Petoskey and back!

What a fun day off we had today! We decided to just enjoy the gorgeous, warm, sunny day and drive to Petoskey!

We saw these gorgeous sunsets on our walk last night - and what an amazing Master Artist we have!! God gives us a little taste of how beautiful heaven must be here on earth!

For everything there is a season...and a time to Mourn.....

This has been a week of three "good-byes" for families in our area. Yes, we have had three funerals this week. What a sad time for these families, but for those that know the Lord, we mourn as those WITH hope that they know they will see these loved ones again! For two of these funerals, we know that "absent from the body, they were immediately present with the Lord." What a comfort that is to those grieving their loss.
Memories of those gone on ahead to heaven are a gift from God. They bring comfort, joy and laughter, and enable famiies to remember the wonderful times they had together. "Weeping may last for a season (a time to mourn), but joy comes in the morning"...what a precious promise that is!

Time flies...when you're in LOVE

Today Daniel and Candice celebrate their 5th month anniversary! What a beautiful 5 months they have had together! We are so thankful that the Lord brought Candice into the life of Daniel and into all of our hearts as well. Have a wonderful day celebrating together. We love you both so much!!

They milk 1700 cows 3 times a day! What a huge operation!

Our three small groups met together tonight for a great carry-in dinner.

We were at the home of Randy and Molly camp...they have a huge garage we could all comfortably eat in! In September, we'll start our 3 and possibly 4 small groups.
