Our trip to Haiti - sights going up the mountain to BHM

After landing in Port-au-Prince, we started the hour drive up the mountain. Here are some of the sights we saw - (these are taken from the car window as we are driving) . Our first view of some of the tent cities along the road and massive distruction.

Tulips for Mother's Day!

These gorgeous tulips were on our front porch when we got home today...

Thank you Matt, Rachel, Micah and Caleb for the beautiful Mother's Day gift! I just love them and will enjoy having a little bit of "spring" on my table! They are just starting to open up xxxxxxxxx

Is your chicken missing?????

Saturday morning when Dad opened up the door to take some mail to our box, there stood a chicken wanting to come in!!! After serveral calls, we found out it belonged to our neighbor across the street. This chicken had "flown the coup" and landed on our porch. Made for an interesting morning!
