Just when we thought spring was in the air.....

This morning we awoke to 5-6" of snow, and it's still snowing hard! We could get 5-6" more today....where oh where is spring??? Bob, Jody and David are all out trying to get things open for church this morning

Today Jason, Elizabeth and Robert are flying back to Tega Cay, SC! How we are going to miss little Robert and his mommy and daddy. What a wonderful week we have had together!

25 years ago...

Twenty-five years ago today, our family (Rachel -6, Elizabeth -5, Rebekah - 3 1/2 and Daniel - 1 1/2) arrived in Manton, Michigan to begin our ministry. Little did we know at that time that God would keep us at Rollins Church for 25 years! What a privilege it has been to serve the Lord here for all these years. God has been sooooo good to us! Now 25 years later, all of our children are married, and we have 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and one grandson on the way!
Our church gave us a beautiful "surprise" Open House on Saturday (we'll be posting pictures soon!). Jason, Elizabeth and Robert flew here to stay with us a week, and be a part of the celebration. What a great week it has been getting to know our little 4-month old grandson, Robert. Another big surprise was when my sister Connie and her husband Jerry arrived and came through our church doors! My uncle Maury from Grand Rapids also came, and so many friends from church and in the community. Thank you to all of you that have been a part of our lives. Your love and support all these years has meant so much to us! We love you!

Happy, Happy, 2nd Anniversary, Daniel & Candice

What a wonderful day it was 2 years ago, when Candice became the bride of Daniel. We were so excited to have Candice in our Lanning family. What a beautiful 2 years this has been for them and for us! We love you both soooo much!! Have a wonderful day!
